August 5

The most important day in my life is August 5 as it is my birthday. I like to spent this day in a special way. This is how I spent my birthday in the last years:

• 1971: My parents say, it was a hot day. It was a spontaneous birth. I just wanted to see the world, so I came out.
• 1972: I have a picture of my first birthday, which proves, that I already could walk
• 1973:
• 1974: This day, I was in France at the Atlantic for camping with my family.
• 1975: Again camping with my family at the Atlantic in France.
• 1976:
• 1977: We went to the Märchenpark in Ludwigsburg. It is a fairy tail garden where all the fairy tails from the Grimm brothers are found.
• 1978: It was my third school day and the only time in my life, when my birthday was not in the school holidays.
• 1979: Again camping with my family at the Atlantic.

• 1984: Again camping with my family at the Atlantic.

• 1986:
• 1987: Big Birthday party together with Tanja
• 1988:
• 1989: Big birthday party together with Markus in the Bisachwald. Then camping with friends at Breitenauer See.
• 1990: Small birthday party in Kirchentellinsfort at a lake.
• 1991:
• 1992: The day after some teeth operation.
• 1993: My birthday was during my Interrail trip through Europe. Started at midnight in Toulouse, Morning in Genf, Afternoon in Luzern, Evening in Bern and night train to Vienna.
• 1994: Big party in Scharnhausen with Pina. We had about 60 guests.
• 1995:
• 1996: I gave a big party in Scharnhausen.
• 1997: I went for camping at a lake in southern Germany with Andi.
• 1998: My biggest birthday party ever with 130 people. It was also my good bye party.
• 1999: This day I had to work in Düsseldorf. In the evening we went to a team dinner in an Indian restaurant.
• 2000: I celebrated it in Tunesia at the beach with some French people I did not know before.
• 2001: Pictures from the party of my 30th birthday. I celebrated in Scharnhausen on Riegers Ranch with about 60-70 people. It was great as some friends I had not seen for several years came to the party.
• 2002: I gave a small party in Düsseldorf. We had a nice dinner at my home and later went to the Schützenfest next to my house.
• 2003: I was in Scharnhausen at my parents and some friends came over.
• 2004: I had a BBQ with my family in the garden of my brother.
• 2005: We never had that bad weather. I was invited to a Polterabend (pre wedding party) together with Shirish an Indian collegue. During the day I was working. The next weekend, my brother with family visited me.
• 2006: Long weekend celebration. Jessie has her birthday on the 4th so we started from her birthday and drunk into mine... The next day some friends came from all over Germany and we had a nice time.
• 2007: Long weekend celebration. Picked up Ferdi in Kaiserslautern and drove with him to Luxemburg and then to Trier. Was the first really hot birthday since years. We had up to 32C.
• 2008: Spent the day with wellness.
• 2009: Birthday at the atlantic at same place where I was last time 25 years ago.
• 2010: I celebrated in my garden only with parents and some friends.
• 2011: My 40th birthday I celebrated in Paris. It was not as nice as expected and the big party is still outstanding.
