Background
Eucalyptus oil is the volatile oil from fresh leaves of Eucalyptus globulus and some other species of Eucalyptus, Myrtaceae. The chief consituent is 70-80% cineole (eucalyptol), a-pinene, phellandrene, terpineol, citronellal, geranyl acetates, eudesmol, eudesmyl acetate, and piperitone.
