Background

Peppermint oil is the steam-distilled volatile oil from fresh flowering plant Mentha piperita. The constituents inlcude 50% menthol, menthyl acetate, menthyl isovalerate, menthone, inactive pinene, l-limonene, cadinene, phellandrene.


Beschreibung (ger)

Pfefferminzöl, aus den blühenden Zweigspitzen des Pfefferminzkrautes gewonnen, ist ein weitverbreiteter Aromastoff in Arzneimitteln (z.B. Halstabletten, Rheumabäder) und wird zur Herstellung von alkoholischen Getränken eingesetzt.
